Clinics

kids3ASNC are run by former Australian Netball Captain, Anne Sargeant,. The program has successfully operated for over 20 years and is proudly supported by Holden.

ASNC uniquely combines Anne’s experience as an International, with her qualifications as a Bachelor of Education, Physical Education, Honours, as well as her Level 2 National Coach Accreditation.

ASNC are designed to bring junior netballers of all abilities in closer contact with their heroes, at the same time developing their skills, confidence and enjoyment of Netball.

ASNC features experienced, knowledgeable coaches, many of them current and former representative players and coaches.

Players are grouped according to age and work on footwork and ball handling drills, specialist positional sessions, courtwork and matchplay.Jan 2007 ASNC photo

Every participant is acknowledged with a certificate and receives a gift courtesy of Holden.. Each clinic also climaxes with a presentation of Awards that rewards outstanding effort..

And by way of supporting various districts and developing players, ASNC offers approximately 15 scholarships annually to attend our January week long ASNC.

Our hope is to impart knowledge, develop skills, offer tactics, as well as to offer social interaction with other players equally passionate about their sport.

Safety and care are paramount to ASNC …as is learning in a FUN environment !!

Our aim is to ‘inject ‘ participants with a shot of enthusiasm and a love of netball!
