Anne Sargeant, OAM, Former Australian Netball Captain, represented Australia for 11 years, played in three World Championships, twice part of successful World Title campaigns.
She has been named Sydney’s “Greatest Ever Netballer” and has been inducted into the Australian Sports Hall of Fame, the NSW Sports Hall of Fame and the Netball NSW Hall of Fame.
On November 29, 2008, Anne was the first inductee admitted into the Australian Netball Hall of Fame, an enormous honour recognising her outstanding contribution to the sport of Netball.
Widely regarded as the “Face of Netball” she has been described as one of Australia’s greatest sports ambassadors and is a respected TV host and commentator.
